Renata Malheiros Henriques
Renata Malheiros Henriques is the National Coordinator of the Women's Entrepreneurship Program at the Brazilian Agency for Small Business Development (SEBRAE), where she oversees capacity-building activities for women entrepreneurs in partnership with UN Women and the Brazilian ecosystem to small businesses.
Renata has more than 10 years of experience in small business development in Latin America. His management experience includes: trade facilitation for small businesses, internationalization of startups, as well as digital transformation, particularly in the field of electronic commerce.
She has a Master's Degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom (2015), an MBA in Project Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Brazil (2008) and a degree in International Relations from the University of Brasilia, Brazil (2007). She is an alumnus of Chevening (2014) and the Columbia University Women's Leadership Network (2019). She is the co-founder of Alumna, a volunteer mentoring program targeting young women in Brazil. Alumna is one of the 50 startups selected for the 2021 cohort of the Future Females Business Accelerator, funded by the UK Tech Hub Program.
Her main interests are diversity and inclusion, gender policy, entrepreneurship and digital transformation. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
