Maciste Alejandro Díaz Abad is a Peruvian politician. He is the current Regional Governor of Huancavelica and a member of the executive committee of the Mancomunidad Regional de los Andes.

Leader and founder of the Independent Movement "Working for All", in 2010 he ran for regional and municipal elections, becoming President of the Regional Government of Huancavelica, undertaking a policy of "emerging region", managing to reverse the statistics of anemia and chronic malnutrition, also during his administration regional impact projects were executed.

It is currently undertaking a public policy aimed at consolidating Huancavelica as "The first organic region of Peru and South America", also reaching the bicentennial as a model region of development on equal terms with the other regions.
