Fernando Rodrigo Asencio
Ambassador Fernando Rodrigo Asencio is an Argentine politician who currently works under the rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador, as Undersecretary of National Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, an area that he understands in the institutional coordination between the Ministry of Foreign Relations, International Trade and Worship and the agencies and authorities of the different powers of the State at the provincial, municipal and Autonomous City of Buenos Aires levels.
Ambassador Asencio has experience in parliamentary work, having stood out as Councilor and Vice President of the Honorable Deliberative Council of La Matanza from 2009 to 2017, serving two consecutive terms. In the first period, it stood out for the number of projects presented concerning food safety and various protocols for the treatment and eradication of pathogenic residues; while in the second he was distinguished by his peculiar work in the presentation of hydraulic projects for the nineteen streams of the La Matanza district, as well as for the Matanza River. Likewise, it developed projects related to public health, the eradication of the finance market, the declaration of security and parity in the municipal ranks.
From 2018 to 2019 he fulfilled his mandate as National Deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires, distinguishing himself in different projects and declarations related to the subject of human rights, social assistance, criminal law, public works and security, among others. Position that he held until his current appointment in the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
