Doctor in Ecology from the Paul Sabatier University of Toulouse and specialized in plant ecology, biodiversity and biological invasions, impact of invasive exotic plants in the ecosystems of indigenous tropical islands, biological control and biodiversity of oceanic islands.
Temporary Teaching and Research Attaché at the IUFM of the Island of La Reunion and at the University of La Reunion, professor and associate researcher in the Biology laboratory of the University of La Reunion.
Research work as part of the national program of biological invasions, collaboration in the development of a CAB International book on invasive alien species, contribution to the development of the La Réunion Biodiversity Strategy and the strategy to combat invasive species in La Réunion, National focal point for France of the Biodiversity Program of the Indian Ocean Commission.
