    The ongoing pandemic crisis is exacerbating pre-existing patterns of inequality and vulnerability, condensing and accumulating in a short and intense sequence the adverse effects of a long, largely uneven and unsustainable development trajectory. Luis Felipe López-Calva, Assistant Administrator and Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Program, will present a specific conceptual and analytical perspective on territorial economic models to address inequality, including its relevance to the current pandemic context.
