
The 5th World Forum for Local Economic Development "Transition towards a sustainable future: The role of territories in times of uncertainty" has ended with more than 12,000 participants and 3,469 registrations to the Platform.
For five days, they have been held 35 sessions (opening, closing, 3 keynote talks, 10 panels, 5 plenary sessions, 15 round tables, workshops, training sessions and co-creation spaces) with 58 hours of live broadcast in three languages (ES-ING-FR) in which they have participated 216 speakers from 46 countrieswhere it has been possible to address current issues on local economic development. These sessions were structured around three axes:
- The The territory as a basis for innovation and economic, social and environmental reactivation.
- Territorial economic models to address inequality in the current pandemic crisis.
- The future of work and the work of the future from a territorial perspective in the context of the crisis generated by Covid-19.
In addition, 15 activities have been organized parallel to the program.
